Research


















Here are some Picture I gathered of inspiration and art style that I wanted in the project. These games had a team of artists to make these ground breaking games and I know I cant come close to what they have achieved in this short amount of time but I will try my best to refer to these pictures should I get lost for creativity when producing my simple models and textures. I feel I can create assets and designs such as these because they are so far from reality that a minor misjudgement of size can be passed off as an art style; meaning I can use my mediocre modelling and texturing skills to my advantage and create a simple and visually fun game.

The First few Concept Ideas











This was the first week of the project. Tanguy warned me not to do too much concept art because I had a lot of assets and textures to do let alone deciding of the terrain layout. As long as I have a my inspiration to work with I know what would be the right direction to go in in terms of art style.
